Other than shovel snow the past 24 hours time and time again in Denver, I did venture out to see Charlie Wilson's War tonight. I was pleasantly surprised. I loved Philip Seymour Hoffman, he made the movie for me and he made Tom Hanks look good too. Excessiveness of the '80s no doubt! The movie was witty, entertaining and moved along nicely; as well, quite timely with the tragic death today of Benazir Bhutto, as there is reference to her father in the movie of it's times.
Ok - back to shoveling snow!

It was interesting to hear Karzai's muted response. That will definitely be an area to watch.
Have you seen S.T. yet?
OK - now I'm starting to feel like a slug...we never get to the movies. The whole situation in Pakistan should scare the hell out of us and yet it appears that the majority of people don't see the potential threat. We live in interesting times.
