What a trio! 2 of them on New Year's Eve and the other, Juno, tonight! My friend Sarabeth and I went to see National Treasure and Sweeney Todd on New Year's Eve - what a party of popcorn, junk food, hot chocolate and schnapps smuggled into the movies! National Treasure was pure entertainment, kept my attention throughout the entire movie. A good old fashioned "fun" movie. Nothing to overthink! Perfect for today's first show.
Sweeney Todd stamped a variety of images in my head. The musical aspect was great. It is after all, Johnny Depp - but keep in mind it is truly Tim Burton. What a combo! Grim, goth, dark, the worst of London, but clever and witty all the same. It's not for the faint of heart, but the best thing to keep thinking is "it's just paint" ;)
Juno was bright, intelligent, hilarious and brilliant! I loved it. It captured me from the first scene. If I had my own Oscars right now, I am not clear who the winners would be. I am guessing one of my fans will have his own Carey Anthony Oscars and I won't want to miss it this year!

I give - there is no amount of catching up that I could do to match the movie-going you have done! I have started adding items to my Netflix list that are in the theaters (as an admission that I will be seeing them on DVD). :) So - what's the first trip of 2008 going to be? Atlanta for Sales mtg or some other fun filled destination - I watch daily in anticipation!
I think you AND Kimberly should come down for the Carey Anthony Oscar extravaganza!!
GLY!
